When I use windows automatic install for plug and play devices it installs ati radeon 9000/9100 pro IGP series video card. But this video card doesn`t seem to work. It works for a while until I play a game that requires a video card, or until I use my computer for more than 20 minutes. Then the screen goes black, and instead of the green light on my monitor the light swithes to yellow. I have a targa monitor, and the monitor installed on my computer is a plug and play monitor.
Now I have to restart my computer and let windows run in safty mode, I deactivate my video card and restart my computer. This is the only way I know to end this problem, but now I don`t have a active video card on my computer. Sometimes when I restart my computer after the screen turns black I get a windows error, a blue screen, and windows restarts itself.
I don`t know what other technical stuff I have to write down to make someone be able to help me. I hope that someone finds this problem interesting enough to help me out. Ask questions if I haven`t written enough about my problem.

what resolution are you gaming at?
Sounds like something strange is going on with the video card driver and the OS... What OS are you running?
oh and welcome to the forums.

Screen resolution is 800*600 or 1024*768, I have tried to change it. And I run windows xp, forgot to write that in my last post.
I can play the game for a little while, maybe 1 or 2 minutes before the screen goes black. I managed to play civilization 3 for a couple of days before the screen went black, but I can only play pro cycling manager 2007 for 1 or 2 minutes.

integrated graphics can be a pretty iffy when gaming and since you are gaming on IGP graphics you might want to spend some extra money and pick up true dedicated graphics card for better performance. If you have all the latest drivers installed and can't play a game at 800x600 the next set would be to upgrade the motherboard or to add in a dedicated video card (just be sure to find out if you are AGP or PCIe before you order anything).
I'm also pretty sure that ATI stopped updating the 9000 series Windows XP series drivers in 2006, so if you are playing a game that was launched in 2007 on drivers that were last updated in 2006 this could be one of the reasons you are seeing a black screen.

It isn`t my computer. I am home with my parents and it is their computer and crappy video card
But it is still weir that the screen goes black when I am not playing, just surfing the internet. And it goes black on games made before 2006 too. Looks like I have to wait until I come back to my computer to play pro cycling manager then
