Hello,
I have a Sharp Aquos LC52D64U and the manual http://www.sharpusa.com/files/tel_dow_L ... 52D64U.pdf states only Input 6 can handle the PC res, out of the 4 HDMI inputs available.
I have the Visiontek X1650 Pro HDMI (WHich I got for $30 after MIR from Fry's... I actually got two of them... woohooo!) http://www.visiontek.com/products/cards ... _HDMI.html
When I boot the PC up, I get an instat video... no prob.
When I switch back to another input (which happens to be HDMI, for my Series 3 Tivo), I get signal and audio.. no prob.
I have a problem not getting video on my PC HDMI input when going back to the input, after viewing my Tivo HDMI input. It is a matter of 10 minutes or more, and the TV seems to lose the sync between the nativ HDMI output on the video card and the TV HDMI input. The input on the TV is supported for TV resolution as well.
There are no power saving features in Win XP that are enabled to shut the monitor off. The screensaver doesnt interrupt the pc res either, if I keep the PC input on... so I am stumped on what the problem is.
I am able to hear the audio as well, so I am clueless. I do not have the audio over HDMI going, the audio is via RCA at the moment.
