How to get Catalyst utility without using the CD?

Hi everyone. I recently built a new computer (Gigabyte P35-DS4, Q6600 SLACR, 2GB G.SKILL PC6400) and installed a new Diamond Viper X1650 Pro PCI-E graphics card. After updating the BIOS to ver F11 I then installed the video drivers off the ATI CD. Unfortunately, this crashed my system and now I have to reinstall the OS (Windows XP Home).

My question then is there any way to get the Catalyst program without installing all the other garbage off the driver CD? The reason I ask is because I'd like to have a little more than the Windows display properties to work with. My old GeForce FX5200 had a really nice nVidia utility that expanded on a lot of the settings I could do with the display. I could access this anytime by going to display properties, Settings, and clicking the Advanced tab. I would like to have something similar to use with the X1650 Pro card, if possible.

Thanks.

I just downloaded that. Saved it on my USB drive to take home. Hopefully that's the right one (Catalyst Software Suite 46.2MB 8.2 Feb. 13, 2008.). Now should I install that instead of using the CD?

i'd think so, if your OS will isntall with the plug and play compatibility, you should be ok until it's installed, then you can use that USB stick to load Catalyst.
