Neither of those are the companies best card.
SLI and CF isn't what I would call fantastic.
Quadro are workstation cards and 3800 is a gaming card.
Personality and packing? lol

I am confused at the chart. What do I use if I am a conservative gamer? I know those workstation cards are in the couple thousand dollar range but i am fairly sure it doesnt make it the "best" card for gaming.

tech-65nm dual card.........................55nm dual core
user-Enthusiast w/money....................Enthusiast
Price-too much.................................Affordable
perf.-Best.......................................Great

Not to mention the 3870X2 is on 1 PCB, while I do believe the 9800GX2 is 2 PCB's, so that makes it much easier to put a water block on an 3870X2 for serious overclocking!
Now how about the 4870 vs 9800GX2!
