I am correct in thinking that you mean the picture has shifted off of the edge of your monitor, and part of it is black?

Before you try anything more with drivers, press the "auto calibrate" button on your monitor to see if the screen will correct where the picture should be.

If that doesn't do anything, did you get the latest drivers from here?

Try uninstalling your graphics card drivers (from the control panel) and re-installing the new ones from above.

I'm not sure I understand quite what is happening in regards to the problem, is it possible to take a picture and post it here (you can use the attachment feature on the forums) so we can see just what you mean?

hit print screen on the keyboard and then paste it in MS Paint (under accessories) and save it... then just attach the image to the forum post.

nate, that depends on if it is artifacts or a weird display scaling issue. If it is the latter, the print screen might not catch it.

redhunter, If you paste the print screen into paint and it doesn't show the problem that you are having, Do you have a digital camera, or a camera phone that can send pictures to the computer with? As then you can take a picture of what you see on the monitor.

Try downloading and running this, and run it's artifact tester. Run it for about 30mins and see if it works ok. Let us know how that works.

Do you have the original driver disk that came with the card? You could uninstall your current drivers and re-install the old one.

Run it and press the "scan for artifacts" button.

Let it run for half an hour, it will beep at you (and tell you that an artifact was found). Make sure the fluffy cube window is at the top all the time or it won't work,.

If it is working properly then you will see a pink fluffy cube, it will be in a little window the same size of the ATI tool window..

Is your card AGP?

And do you have the original driver CD?
