GPU performance w/ Multi Monitors

If you add additional monitors to extend your desktop how does this effect your GPU performance?
For example, say I'm running three monitors. Two are desktop extensions and the third is running a 3d game. What kind of performance hit am I going to take in that game for runnin the extra monitors?

i would have to say a pretty decent one, when i run with a desktop extension, my FPS is cut by about 1/3, and thats just an extra 640x480 that i need to fold with SLI, i don't run actual dual monitors often, maybe twice

Ok, I think you're answering the wrong question and your using the PC for folding automatically bias's the results because the GPU/CPU's being taxed by that.
What I'm saying is this. If I run two (or three) monitors off the same PC. Here's my example.
Monitor 1 (Left) has up a web page. In my example it's my BF2 stats page.
Monitor 2 (Center) actually has BF2 running on it.
Monitor 3 (Right) has Everest, a RSS reader, and another web page open.
Am I looking at a serious performance hit on the system for dealing with the extra two monitors or will the loss be negligable?

i close folding when i game, i just forget to turn SLI back on and switch the monitor back to non-extended.

So expect to see a pretty drastic performance hit. Got it.

it may not be as severe as mine, your cards do have roughly triple the mem each
