Just saw this on YouTube... The World's First DirectX 11 GPU running a tessellation demo!

AMD demonstrates improved detail in character models through tessellation using DirectX 11 in combination with the worlds first DirectX 11 graphics processor.

Since AMD's yammering about tessellation on their 4800 series I wonder if it, like everything else they created with tessellation in mind will go into the tech dustbin. Their froblins demo was nice but tech demos do not a game make. Is there any games released that supported tessellation on a DX 10.x card?

I think the big deal is going to be the standardized OpenCL (Physics API). Now that will be awesome. Oh, and it will and has been implemented in games ala Havoc.
