I just got an e-mail from ATI letting me know ATI Catalyst 9.9 Display Drivers are coming out later today...
Just a heads up if you have been waiting for them or have a driver bug!

Just a little puppy trying to make it in a big digital world.
Re: ATI Catalyst 9.9 Display Drivers Come Out Later Today
will these work on ubuntu 9.04? I couldn't find any drivers to work with my x800. So i bought a cheap nvidia card the drivers took about 2 seconds to install and work amazing. Errr I just read it "support for Linux operating systems. You can now download the new drivers at the AMD/ATI homepage." guess my question is answered.

I D/L and installed, but had use the built-in Windows option to roll back to previous drivers. After installing 9.9, the resolution changed to a size that I couldn't access any of the controls at the bottom of the window, and so I was stuck.

Hi there Apoptosis, long time no see!(or read, for that matter..)
Been doing other stuff, mostly GRAW2 online, on the pc.
Any improvements in the latest drivers 9.8 and 9.9? I've run the 9.8 on our pc's in Norway(AMD+2x4870) and Sweden(i720 +1x4890)
and it runs great. I've not been doinig any tests though, fraps or what ever..
Are there any freeware available for benchmarking?
Have a good nights sleep! I'm working night shift in Sweden!
