How to test my 5870?

I am getting random freezes in games. I have tested my memory and i know that is not the problem only thing I could think of is my V Card is there any way to test it?
ATI Tool has a good artifact scanning mode.
If you run the program, and little yellow squares show up, your graphics card is artificating (It should beep at you too). If it runs just the cube fine, then the graphics card would appear to not be the problem.
If for whatever reason that doesn't work, use furmark instead.
