Disable overtemp protection

Hello, wanted to know how to disable that thing.. Because of it I can't play even with 80°C temperature...

It seems that it's impossible. As ppl say in AMD forums.

Hmm, I don't know how to disable it. It was put there in the first place for a very good reason, though. Even if you could, I would suggest against doing it, unless you want to risk destroying your hardware. Perhaps you should invest in better cooling?

I have a crappy psu, that's why maybe. Even it worked fine with many x1950pro and a 88gtx.

what are your system specs? It is possible that a low quality psu is the culprit.

yeah i wouldn't disable overtemp protection on the GPU... Unless you want a dead card
