Having a bitch of a time with this driver update. I go through the install, then I don't get the restart option at the end. I wait 10min, then I restarted Manually. It loads up again, the HDMI output is not on the proper scaling setting. Catalyst Control Center does not load. I try opening it, it pops up in the task manager, then quickly disappears.

So now I have cleaned out the drivers, reinstalled, same problem, and I am right now cleaning them out again then I am reinstalling 10.6.

Had to system restore to fix it. I think ill wait till 10.8 before I try installing again.

not sure what your problem is, as i've installed 4 graphics cards and originally installed right over 10.6, with forceware 257 installed too without a single problem

(5670/5750/5770/xfire)

what operating system you have?

Vista 64.
:ANAL:

I noticed last night for the stand alone CCC download on the Ati Vista 64 page, it still said 10.6, but today it is now 10.7. So I am thinking they messed up the vista package, and used 10.7 driver, with 10.6 CCC. I am going to download it and try again when I get home tonight.
