Care to explain your opinion?

Maybe he has a bunch of NVidia stock :P

In all seriousness though, the GTO^2 (and ONLY the ^2 version) is a great deal, assuming all goes well in the flashing process. I would recommend getting an aftermarket cooler, or at the very least, see how hot your card would get at 850XT speeds before going ahead with a full flash...you don't want to kill the card :P.

Very good advice indeed. You can very rarely have too much cooling! 8)

The PCI-Express 6800's don't unlock. The X800GTO² does. I would know because I happen to have one. I clocked it up to 587/1236 (past XT PE!), from a stock clock of 400/980. The stock cooler is very nice for a stock cooler, and even at these clocks it stays under 64c full load.
