Check out at
http://www.ati.com/products/catalystcon ... index.html.
This baby needs the .NET Framework 1.1, a link at the above location. DNA drivers forum posts say it likes to eat tons of memory... Maybe I'll just wait till the ATI guys do some optimizing...

Capper and I have been using the CCC for about 3 weeks and haven't noticed much system memory being used up.
You can read Capper's article on CCC
here!!

I've only heard about it, but never read anything on it.
How will this work for the Omega drivers? I'm assuming they've gotta redo their junk? I guess I don't plan on upgrading my Omega's until they come out with the new. 4.7's will suffice.

The bad news is that there is not much in the way of optimization you can do on .net. It handels most of the memory for the programer meaning that if its blote ware now it will not get much better untill they use a lighter language or better compiler.

I read cappers and another one on it today............

First, .net Framework..........no thanks. Never cared for it when it first came out. Auto update, also no thanks, I don't let Windows update anything by its self so there's no way that I'm going to let the video CP do it. I'll take control of my system please........

No kidding, eh? I like running older drivers sometimes. I ran I think Catalyst 3.8's for a long time because everything else just kept messing up my computer. I don't want something automatically updating my drivers and have potential to f-up my system again. I get tired of reformatting every other week!
But I'm sure there is a feature to turn auto-update off, just as there is for Windows.
