hey guys i need a video card upgrade and im getting ati 100% so i need to decide what to get. I could get either a x1950pro or x1950xt when the dx10s are released or get a mid range dx10 when it comes out?? (if i were to get the dx9 i would upgrade next jan)(budget=250-400)

I think we should wait a bit for the ATI's lower priced DX10 GPUs.As Nvidia has already planned to provide us a $ 100 DX 10 card, ATI will not seat idle too.They r going to have such cards for sure.I prefer to wait for the lower priced DX10 cards.They r not the performance powerhouses but future proofing is also something that should counted.

If you are not planning on using Vista and since it fits your budget, go for the faster of the two, the X1950XT.
