I have an older rage fury pro/xpert 2000 video card and the original ATI install/driver disc. At one time I could capture video with this, but now, with Winxp, I need to reinstall the capture software I guess.
Yet when I insert the install CD it says it can't find any hardware. Yet I can see the video card installed and the ATI software controlling the display.
What do I need in place of this original install CD, or how can I get it to recognize the card in place?

Did you use the original driver CD to install the card the first time round?or did you let windows find drivers on its own?
You will probably need to uninstall the card, go; run --> devmgmt.msc --> find your card under display adaptors and click the computer with the X on it (in other words uninstall it).
Restart the PC, then use the CD to reinstall the graphics card, don't let windows do it automatically, choose the driver yourself off of the CD.
Maybe there is a less drastic option, but this is all I can think of for now. Has the ATI theatre thing installed or not?
