Can my PSU handle HD 2900XT

hello, i was looking into buying a HD 2900XT, but im not sure if my antec 550w psu can handle it :D

I wouldn't get that PSU because it doesn't have the 8-pin PCIe power cable for the HD 2900 XT, which is needed to overclock it correctly. I'm running the Corsair 620W PSU on my HD 2900 XT and it's running it fine, but I can't overclock it as it doesn't have the right plug... You can get an adapter though if you really wanted to use that one though...

i already have that psu :-( i bought it a few months ago, but im really starting to think i should just go with the BFG 8800GTS 320mb OC because it offers very similar performance to the HD 2900XT and i dont see why i should dole out the extra cash for the ati card and im running @ 1440x900 so i dont really think i need the 512mb from the 2900xt, and yes i know that my mobo is for crossfire but after my experiences with the 1600pros i think i will just stick to one card

unfortunately i have no credit card and i am forced to buy from http://www.canadacomputers.com :-( can you please tell me what would be the best buy from that site :P(MAX:budget=460CAD total (CND tax=14%)

to be honest, i dont have a car or a credit card so i can not travel anywhere or order anything online, http://www.canadacomputers.com is the closest place to my house so if you have time can you tell me which card on that site is the best for my budget

buy yourself 1 of those american express gift cards and put all ur money on it the order off the internet like a credit card.
