Loud DVD drive

The cd drive on my X box 360 seems to be VERY loud. Any one know of a problem in that area for the system?

There was a batch of 360's that had a different drive in them and they were complaints about the noise they made. Not sure if there is anything you can do about it though.

I would say don't worry about it, even my Wii's dvd drive gets really noisy. So unless you're having a green screen of death, or the red ring of death, i'd say crank up the volume and ignore it. But if it's really bothering you, just call MS tech support. They should be able to help.

Yep, what he said. Nothing to worry about. ;) You may be able to exchange the console for a different version, but I'm not sure about that.
