Ive read all kinds of stories about the strap on the wiimote breaking and wiimotes flying all over the place.

One guy even broke his 60" HDTV while "bowling" when his hand slipped and his wiimote strap broke sending the wiimote hurtling towards the TV and cracking the screen. I cant find the link though but it had pictures lol.

Long story short if you buy one make sure you get a stronger strap lol.

my 2 buddies camped out and got one each. one got just the Wii and the other got Zelda too. Ive been playin with their Wii's alot and i can say that my hands get sweaty, ive got calasys, my arms and shoulders hurt, all because of playin with thier wii's

:P

about the strap, if the guy that cracked his 60" TV because he let the Wiimote fly outa his hands, he doesnt deserve to have the Wii, a 60" TV, or even remain living. That strap is as strong as a cell-phones strap (mines amazingly strong). I took it off my buddies controller as we didnt put it on our wrist while playin, and it kept gettin in the way. I must say that the Boxing game is by far the best. It gives you a hell of a workout.

my favourite lines we've said to people about the wii are:
"Man, my neck is killing me from stayin up all nite playin with my Wii"
"Ive got a stiff neck from your Wii"

"I still dont believe you played with my Wii while i was sleeping"
"You didnt say stop"

"My hands are so sweaty afer playin with my Wii"
"Your lucky, ive got a few blisters"

"Man i gotta clean my Wii"
"Ya, you should do that everynight, just incase ya kno, dont want anything growing on your Wii"

"Stop flicking myWii!"

"You wanna come over and play with my Wii?"
"Is it really motion sensitive"
"More than you know!"

those are just a few :P

I did wonder why you'd been hiding :P

And the guy that broke the 60" TV wasnt the owner (he was playing at his friends!)! Ouch! And from the looks of the strap, it snapped clean in half!
