While at Computex a couple companies happened to have DDR2 SO-DIMM's on hand. We were told that ASUS and other companies just received their first samples in Taiwan this week and that notebooks will begin using these modules by Q4 2004 at the soonest. This is good news for notebook users as these modules consume far less power than DDR1. I'm keeping an eye on these and will keep you all updated.
Hard to believe only a handfull of notebooks use DDR400 and now we are seeing DDR2 533MHz modules starting to be built!
