With the re-introduction of UTT BH-5 and CH-5 into the market I have been seeing more and more people claiming CAS 1.5. I was under the impression that support of this function would be on the DRAM level. Not since PC2100 have I seen an IC that stated support of this function. Is it still true that the IC needs to have the register to support this function? IC manufactures would have to publish this in the white paper for the IC. To this day I have not found a single white paper that states support of CAS 1.5. Any opinion or fact that would put this argument to rest?
