hmmm both 2x 1Gb kits are $109.99 at the egg,

gskill timings: 4-4-4-12

mushkin: 4-5-4-11

both are at a great price, and i might just be able to put my new pc together within a few weeks... not too sure on which is the slightly better timing, but
tough call, any suggestions?

G-Skill. They look better (imo) and use less voltage.

quite true! amazing the things you gloss over when you're just looking.... apparently they're the famed Micron D9 chips too...
i'll leave this up for the sake of the poll, i've still got a little bit to wait before i can buy these suckers though

Personally looks are not the only thing to consider, I would go Mushkin over G-Skill hands down. If you have a problem with G-Skill who will replace them? Mushkin has in the past been great about replacing failed modules.
However, I will only use Corsair any more.

well the gskill is supposedly the d9 micron on the black 800mhz ram. so I would pick it if going for overclock though mushkin is a great brand. or just put them both on price alert and see which one drops first ;)
