G-Skill 4000 HZ Dual channel

Hi,
Just had to rma my pc3200 LA 1gig kit dual channel sticks back to G-Skill and unfortunatley they do not make those sticks anymore and had to send me 2 sticks of pc4000 HZ 2 gig set to replace 1 gig the best bloody thing thats happened to me for years!!!! lol thanks g-skill my faith in human nature is restored for now!!

my question to anyone who knows is what are the best timings i can expect from these sticks with mt setup that is in my signature?? I would like to run 1t timings but am open to suggestions

They can do 800MHz 4-4-4 timings at ~2.0v or 3-3-3 timings with < 2.3v. They can clock to about 1000MHz with 4-4-4 & 2.2v. I haven't tested with Cas 5 yet but I'm working on it. ;)

DDR500 overclocked to DDR800? Really? I never seen that before.

OOPPS....I thought he had PC6400.....I should have read the title

That DDR1 kit can do ~540MHz with 3-4-4-8 & ~2.6v
They use UCCC IC's which don't respond well to voltages over 2.7v

Too bad as DDR400 overclocked to DDR800 would be quit impressive.

I RMA'd a gig of Corsair PC4000 a little while back and they offered me 2 gigs of PC3200-PRO as a replacement. Of course I accepted their offer :)

Yea most of the IC makers if not all that count have moved production to DDR2 so the choice for good DDR1 is slim to non existant.
But getting a upgrade to two gig is a real pluss.
