I am looking to add some more memory to my computer. It was in it DDR2 PC2-5300, my mother board supports PC2-6300. So my question is can I use both types at onces or do I need to keep it all the same?

u can put the higher speed RAM in there, but your computer will default it to the slower RAMs speed anyway(and of course if your board supports that faster ram, then you can pull out the 5300 and it will go at its rated speed)

You can use both but the faster memory will clock down to the slower memory.
