I just got 3 x 1GB of these by FexEx, from 4 All Memory, today and installed them:

But I really have no idea what all the numbers mean, stuff like 'Supported Frequencies" how can you tell which one its using? And stuff like 4 clocks, 5 clocks etc are greek to me.
I just plugged the three sticks in and didn't even attempt to mess with BIOS or anything. Did I do it right?

Okies, just found this info off of CPU-Z:

Seems to be running a LITTLE slower than the 399 or 400 it should be at - yours is showing 384.1.

try running cpu-z again and see if the speed has come up any, if you would


You did good - most memory you can just pop in and go - unless you overclock or want to set tighter timings (I never wanted to), you are good to go.

It's because the AM2 4400+ has a 1/2 multiplier (10.5)
The AMD memory controller underclocks the ram slightly when any 1/2 multi is used.

they pretty much answered the question. But, for future reference. If you want help. And you can't get any from people online. All you do is say help a gal. Or Cute girl needs help.. I will keep that in mind. Altho I'm a guy so what no one knows. Maybe my sn should be different lol
