Mushkin Launches PC-3700 2.5-4-3 Memory

Post by Apoptosis »

Just got this inside tip from Mushkin that some new memory is on the way from them.

Hi-Performance Memory for the serious computer enthusiast Mushkin's Hi-Performance Black Series offers the best performance, period! These modules use the finest DDR chips selected to achieve the highest bandwidth, overclocking capability, and low latencies. The PC3700 has
timings of CAS2.5-4-3 at PC3700 system speeds and is built on a 6 layer PCB. This module is built to achieve speeds of 467 MHz while maintaining lower latency operation, eliminating the memory as a potential bottleneck when overclocking. Our custom-designed Heat Spreader reduces the risk of localized hot spots within the memory core and further increases overclocking margins.

Features: PC3700 DDR SDRAM
Capacity: 512MB DDR SDRAM
Speed: DDR467
Timings: CAS2.5-4-3
3.7GB/s
Dual Bank

They did a press release on this?

Companies have been shipping parts that run 2.5-3-3-X at 500MHz for a long time now... ](*,)
