This is a great reason to buy memory with a lifetime warranty! This 512mb module is listed for $5 and no bids! Best yet it's in Columbia missouri which is 90mins away from me!

After months of agonizing misery, a friend passed this stick of memory to me after replacing most of the components in his system in order to achieve system stability. I was happy to get it and assumed that it was simply incompatible with his mainboard or that he possible had driver issues of some sort with his system. I could not have been more wrong. Simply put, placing this memory in a computer will drive the owner mad.
