Mushkin RedLine XP4000 2-2-2 Memory Arrives

Post by Apoptosis »

I just got a chance to open the Muskin RedLine XP4000 memory modules today and boy isn't the red pretty!

I couldn't help it and had to remove the heat spreaders right away and found some good ole unmarked UTT IC's from an unkown company (Musking is holding tight). We did find out that the modules are built on the BrainPower 815 or B6U815 PCB.

I quickly tossed the modules onto the DFI LanParty nForce4 SLI-D board and got them up and running. After raising the voltage to 3.5Volts I was able to run the modules at 530MHz 2-2-2 stable enough to run some games and benchmark on. Due to time constraints I'm going to have to play with this later. Expect an article coming later this month.
