Hello people, Im now-a-days using a crucial ballistix pc3200 1x512mb module in my nf7-s 2.0 / mobile barton PC but, live everyone, I want the top of the hill... so, im not happy with the 233 mhz 2.5/2/2/11 that this module gives at best, and im thinking in changing it for a new 2x512 kit... since Im using NF7-s and the maximum voltage I can get is around 3.05 volts (dunno why but im getting overvolt reading in MBM5, when i set bios at 2.9 volts (mobo max) it gives me 3.05 volts im MBM5), I dont know wich kit to get, because most of the modules out there, specially OCZ onces, can do 2-2-2-11 all the way up to 260mhz but only with 3.2+ voltage... is there anything im missing? or only using one of those high voltage combined with a OCZ DDR BOOSTER I'd get what I want?

The real limmitation your going to find is the nf2 chipset. The fact that your getting 233fsb on that is good, i cant push mine past 221 in dual channal mode. if you know you can hit a higher front side bus then you will want to look at some TCCD or TCC5 based memory like the OCZ Platnum EL.

good. I can get almost 250mhz in my nf7-s using bad timings, so it isn't the limit factor... I have heatsinks everywhere in the mobo... what about this gskill memory:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820231013 there's a guy that feedback it as going 230mhz with 2.9 volts (2-2-2-11)?

i think thats based on the UTT chip not the TCCD/TCC5 chip. GSkill does have a TCCD based set that i would also recomend. That Balistix is decent memory i have some

Ok, but with ONE module of ballistix I can max out at 233mhz 2.5-2-2-11 because it doesnt respond to voltage increase! so, between those UTT/TCCD/5 wich one is most certain to achive 250mhz 2-2-2-11 with <3 volts?

TCCD/TCC5 all the way. UTT does well but it really likes 3+ volts to shine.

ok, but I have read in some places that TCCD/5 doesnt respond well to voltage also... and that it itsnt good to get low latency (I mean 2-2-2-X), only to get high FSB, is that wrong?
