Q2 was a rough period for many DRAM suppliers, but their rankings remain pretty much the same. The top three suppliers are still the same, although Hynix and Micron traded places on the list this time around. Samsung sold $1.75 billion, which makes a big gap in the lead when compared to Hynix's $939 million in sales. Samsung has had some great DRAM on the market over the past year with as their TCCC, TCCD and TCC5 memory IC's are common terms used among enthusiasts.
Rankings:
1) Samsung
2) Hynix
3) Micron
4) Infineon
5) Elpida
6) Nanya
7) Powerchip
8} ProMos
9) Winbond
10) ISSI

Thanx
If they deal mostly in low/medium density ram, Ther may still be a market in networking, tvVIVO boxes, mobile phones and the like?
Since your Qoute said, "the following key markets: (i) digital consumer electronics, (ii) networking, (iii) mobile communications, and (iv) automotive electronics."
Don't think that market will need high density ram for a while.
