memory Come out? Boy I am way behind on the memory department. I was poking and prodding around Newegg for memory and I stumbled upon this set HERE I always had good luck with Gskill memory, Time I ditch the Crucials I have been running and jump on these bad boys. Sure to help out squeeze a bit more performance out the CPU....

It's been the standard for budget performance since DDR3 standardized. I mean 1066 is widely available as DDR2 now (and even DDR2 1200MHz GSkill PI), so that's not really even a good starting point for DDR3, I've always seen DDR3 1333 as the RAM to get only if it is CL7 or lower and you are on a tight budget, I mean 8GB DDR3 1600 kits have been selling under $90 since christmas so theres no excuse not to opt for 1600MHz at any latency because I always ran my 1600MHz CL9 memory at 1450MHz CL7. (only regret was not getting CL7 to begin with) so it was running at a faster frequency and with tighter timings than most 1333MHz kits, while actually running way slower than spec, so running pretty cool too
