Without wasting money needlessly - what is the fastest RAM that my new mobo will be able to handle ? PC 4000 / 4200 / 4400 / or 4800 ?
I'm off to get the RAM sometime this week but any advice would be well received.
Also, is the memory divider fixed on this board ?

Well for starters your board will "handle" all those modules since they are all DDR1 and that is what your board will use. Although chipsets will vary in overclocking performance greatly. Only a small number can hit DDR550 (PC-4400), while most can seem to hit DDR500 (PC-4000).
So to be honest unless you are an extreme overclocker DDR500 (PC-4000) with Hynix IC's should be the way to go. You will also save a few bucks since it doesn't have a huge premium on it.
One thing you might want to look into is Corsair's XMS 3200XL memory. I know it sounds silly, but the IC's they use are very fast and can run tight timings. I mean 2-2-2-5 at DDR400 and 2.5-3-3-6 at DDR500. This by far blows most DDR500 and above out of the water in terms of performance.

Good luck and let us know what you get!
