twinx 3200C2 timings
twinx 3200C2 timings
What sort of numbers should I be able to get out of my Twinx1024-3200C2PT? and how much power should I give them? I have them set at 2.5-3-3-8@378Mhz right now at default voltage. I have tried tighter timings with some stability problems, maybe voltage related.

you can give that ram up to 3v and maybe more but i think thats the upper limit of most boards. since its an amd system your going to get your best results runing 2-2-2-11 or 2-3-3-11 so try upping your voltage and see if you can get it to run at the above timings

ABIT AN7 Mobo, barton [email protected](fsb only tweaked), Memory you know, Radeon 9600SE, Maxtor 120GB ATA133 boot drive, Maxtor 30GB ATA133 Storage drive, new Aspire 500w PSU, CD-RW drive and DVD--RW drive. I think thats all of it. Oh winxp home OS.

Those modules are using Infineon rev B IC's which are actually the least favored amongst overclockers and enthusiasts...
They are rated to do:
2-3-3-6 latency on Intel platforms
2.5-3-3-6 latency on AMD platforms
If I were you I'd try running them at 2.5-3-3-6... if that isn't stable on your board I'd RMA them and hopefully you'd get some non-infineon IC'd modules... ;)

because volts are a good thing  although merlin you could back that off and they should run no problems at the default voltage, and if they dont take pictures of memtest and email them to the techsupport and they will likely send you an RMA.

Merlin,
I'm guessing you have the latest version of your BIOS... Go into BIOS & set it to optimized defaults. Then go into the memory timings and set the latencies to 2.5-3-3-6 and hit f10 (save) and let the computer do its thing. We need to solve one problem at a time and memory is quick and easy to do, although its best to do with no other BIOS settings that can cause negative impacts on system performance.
