Adjust Memory Timings From windows

Does anyone know of a program that will allow you to do this? My mainboard has zero user configureable setting andis pretty obsure as well.
(im testing some new RAM on my parents desktop and it wont let me change anything!)

ntune will do it for NVIDIA chipsets... Not sure of any good ones for Intel... AMD has a bunch.
What motherboard are you using? That will help a bit.

what chipset are you running? (use cpuz to check)
There's a prog called "memset". There is a d/l link over on XS, but I can't find it...........If you want I can send you it via mail.
If your using an 865/875 chipset, you can get "I865/I875 tweaker"

Its the 945P, and the motherboard is a MSI MS-7187 (which doesnt exist according to MSI
)

Ok, found the memset program, looks like it'll do the trick (on my laptop atm, I'll test later).
Is there anything that will let me change the speed of the RAM from windows too? Because like I said, my BIOS has zero user configurable options! (its defaulting to 533Mhz, when my chipset can support 667Mhz, and the RAM is 800Mhz
)

It may not work.......MSI boards use their own (uncommon) clock generator, the higher end boards call it "core cell"
If your upto it, check the mobo out and see if you can read the markings on the clock generator IC. You might be lucky and find it's supported

I already had found that
I found a winbond chip on my MB (W83627THF), and the corresponding chip name on systool, but dont know where to look for the clock generator, any ideas?
The winbond chip is under the sticker on the top right corner.

That might not be the chipset clockgen, they are normally over the other side of the board..........between or below the cpu/chipset.....
actually a google on "W83627THF" shows it's the hardware monitor chip, used for temp monitoring etc. (it has limited support via SpeedFan)

there should be a smaller IC on the board nearer the cpu, they are normally rectangle in shape.........with either Winbond, ICS, Realtek (RTM) or IDT printed on it.
