Is my memory bandwidth low?

I am trying to do some memory overclocking on my 4400+ Toledo. In memtest86+ it is displaying my Memory bandwidth as 2217MB/s at 210MHz

I was under the impression that PC3200 meant a bandwidth of 3200Mb/s so shouldn't i be getting that or a little higher at 210MHz? I've had to loosen my timings to 2.5-3-3-7 because at 2-3-2-5 I couldn't make it a single MHz over 200....

is the 3200MB/s theoretical and is 2217Mb/s too low?

P.S. I know that Athlon 64 overclocking is yesterday's news, but I don't have the money right now to buy a C2D setup so i'm left reheating yesterday's lunch.

Thanks

I've never in my life used memtest86+ to judge bandwidth... The more common tests would be Sandra, Sciencemark, and Everest.

That sounds about right!

I use memtest's bandwidth test to see if changing a setting has increased performance, it's a quick and dirty test without having to boot into windows.

So does that seem low? I increased the clockspeed and the bandwidth report in Memtest goes up as high as 2350Mb/s. I'll see what everest says and compare it.

Everest gives me numbers I don't understand exactly...I mean they are in MB/s so i understand that, but they are no where near what Memtest says...

Read Write Copy Latency

5997 MB/s 6078 MB/s 4843 MB/s 58.7 ns

Do those sound pretty standard? the memory is clocked at 210MHz so theoretically PC3360....
