Finally finished the computer part, minus the speakers and sound card, and your guys' posts got me to thinking. Maybe I should make a home theater with the option to connect to my pc. So here is what I will need

1. Gaming Computer-completed
2. Playstation 3-Completed
3. Creative soundblaster xi-fi titanium 7.1 sound card
4. Logitech 2.1 speakers
5. 50" plasma tv
6. entertainment center stand
7. onkyo 7100 receiver and 7.1 speakers
8. Three-seater couch

I would go with a DLP tv over a plasma. I know for a fact the sony Bravia line works well with a computer. I have seen both a 55" and 65" hooked up and they both look great. The reason i say DLP over plasma is mostly cost. I picked up my 55" Sony last Jan for $1300 shipping included from Amazon. I personally prefer the picture over plasma also.

also - if your onboard sound outputs 7.1 you should be able to connect that right to your receiver - Then you wouldnt need to spend money on a sound card or the 2.1 logtech speakers.
