I approve of everything but the floppy drive

awsome system and i cant wait to see what you can get your venice up to, with the xp-120 im thinking 2.8 should be easy.

the corsair expert series is bling only. Their C25PT runs 550 at 2.5-4-4-7 and 2-2-2-5 at 400 no problem, for quite a bit less.

My Thanks for all of your help. Quick question, How long should I "burn" in my system?

Also I forgot to list my Power supply in my last post which is the Silverstone Zeus 520 Watt Power Supply.

Well of course the module is just bling, but im saying whats under the heat spreaders is also nice. I believe the c25pt uses the same modules, but doesn't have the led readout :D
Edit: burn in...I would do just 24 hours, it doesn't really do anything a lot of the time...just see if theres any errors coming up i suppose.

you get a lot of argument both ways on the "burn in" thing, some people swear by it, some people, and most companies cal it BS. In the end there is no proof one way or the other on it.l

ZZF has really replaced the Egg for people who buy components. It is unbelievable that Newegg has become everything that they advertised against...about all they have going for them is great shipping prices.
Starting in a few weeks, I will be doing a "recommended components list".
what i hope to do is recom mend a budget mid range and high end list of components for both AMD and Intel systems, as well as other components you should keep an eye on

Yeh poor Newegg. I use to mod my old Falcon-NW with parts from them over the last 4 years but over the last 18months I have converted to ZZF.

Also JMT, just curious on how that Thermalright is doing. My main focus right now is I am visualizing the room I have to play with stuff on motherboards, DFI is one of them I am looking at.

no problem at al.... I look at it this way, if older posts were of no use they would be deleted. Leaving them out helps people do research....you might be considering a component or company that hasn't been discussed in awhile, or there might be an update to something....having those posts there help everyone follow whats going on.
I have been toying with that article idea for almost 8 months, I was about to post one a few months ago, but a coouple of days before I could, another website did exactly that....oh well.
I want to do it as I think most here trust my ideas and opinions, I have gotten a lot of emails regarding recommendations ans article ideas and just feel that its time....keep an eye out.

ZZF is a great vendor, I uesd to use them alot when they were googlegear. The main reason i still use newegg alot is becaues of the diversity of the products. ZZF just does not have the same invantory as newegg, they both have the same big name products but when it comes to things that are more IT less home computer newegg has far more selection.

I use ZZF over Newegg because Newegg charges me tax (NJ) and ZZF usually has free shipping on all of their items.

They are lacking in inventory, especially memory cause they don't carry OCZ memory, so I've been looking at Monarch Computer for that.
