Will my current mobo support new AM3 CPU's????

Hey guys, m new here my very first post in this forum. SO HI EVERYONE :D
Now i wanted to buy a ATHLON II X4 630 or 620 processor and put it on my old socket AM2+ mobo which is the ASUS M4N68-AM SE2
so if its possible i will buy the cpu and a cooler... as i will be OC'ing it.

weird i cant google and get a english site to look at the specs. It prob doesnt but you should check yout documentation that came with the board to be sure.

hmmmm thats weird. And i saw the users guide but there's nothing that could solve my problem....

Contact ASUS and see if there is a BIOS update so you can use an AM3 cpu!
Some boards can with a BIOS update!?!

i misread your original post as asking if the board supports DDR3 RAM - sorry... For the most part AM3 CPU should work as long as the BIOS supports it. You should either contact ASUS like camaroguy said or look on the website to see if any new bios have been released to support them.

Are you sure you have the board you quoted?(M4N68-AM-SE2)
I looked on ASUS' site and can not find that board for India or the USA
The closest I found was the M2N68-AM SE2 and there is a BIOS update that supports AM3 CPU's for this board!

oops... m extremely sorry guys... its M2N68.. sorry sorry sorry... and thanks for searching mate. :D so looks like my plan will work :D and u can see my signature right i ve all that in my pc... and my current processor is of 65W TDP and the one m going to buy is 630 or 620 or 925(a frnd suggested me but m still not sure) and all those are 95W TDP... so will my psu be able to handle it???

Your 450W may be able to handle what you have in your sig with an upgraded CPU but, if you can upgrade the PSU I Would! Too much power is not a problem but, not enough is!

It should with a bios upgrade since am3 cpus were designed for compatibility
