DFI nForce 590 SLI-M2R Motherboard Pictures

Post by Apoptosis »

The DFI NF590 SLI-M2R Motherboard just arrived here at Legit Reviews and it looks nice.

Based on NVIDIA's nForce4 SLI media and communications processors (MCPs), the LANParty UT NF590 SLI-M2R takes full advantage of SLI thanks to two true X16 PCI-e slots

As with every LANParty motherboard launch, DFI incorporated a first-in-the-industry on the LANParty UT NF590 SLI-M2R motherboard by being the first to use copper heat sink fan. As a result, heat can be better absorbed using copper, giving users more room to push for extra overclocking.

DFI is the first in the industry to use 5 phase digital PWM, a technology prior only seen on server motherboards. Digital controllers eliminate the dangers of overheating and exploding capacitors, giving users a safer and better monitored control over the overclocking.

The LANParty UT NF590 SLI-M2R also supports advanced performance memory settings using Enhanced Performance Profiles (EPP), making it easier for the DIYer to spec and build their own systems. Companies like OCZ are claiming this baord can do PC2-9000 memory speeds!

I read a "review" on some site thats obviously inferior to LR that just had this boards marks compared to the old Asus 590 but didnt do any OC'ing, so when can we see some OC results on this board! Also any chance we might see it go head to head with the Asus Crosshair board? I really want one of those, it makes my man parts go crazy.
