Can anyone tell me some reasonable numbers to start with here as far as OCing this board. All these headings are set to auto right now. The manuel helps not at all.


FSB Bus Frequency
This field provides several options for selecting the FSB of the CPU.
The available options allow you to adjust the CPU’s bus clock by
1MHz increment.
Important:
Selecting a bus frequency other than the default setting may
result to the CPU’s or system’s instability and are not
guaranteed to provide better system performance.

LDT/FSB Frequency Ratio
This field is used to select the frequency ratio of the LDT/FSB.

LDT Bus Transfer Width
This field is used to select the LDT bus transfer width.

CPU/FSB Frequency Ratio
This field is used to select the frequency ratio of the CPU/FSB.

PCI eXpress Frequency
Default Default setting.
100MHz This option will set the PCI Express frequency to
100MHz.

K8 Cool ‘n’ Quiet Control
Auto Enables AMD’s Cool‘n’Quiet technology. This function
allows the system to detect the CPU’s tasks and
utilization status. When the CPU’s task slows down,
the system effectively lowers power consumption by
changing its CPU speed and voltage, subsequently
decreasing its noise level.
Disabled Disables AMD’s Cool‘n’Quiet technology.

FSB Bus Frequency

This is your FSB, you increase this and your overclocking ;) Increase this by ~5MHz @ a time, testing in-between changes



LDT/FSB Frequency Ratio
This field is used to select the frequency ratio of the LDT/FSB.
This is the multiplier for your HTT Link. Normally it's set to 5x (5x 200 = 1GHz) if your increasing the fsb, you want to set this to 4x or 3x - you want to keep the HTT between 800MHz & 1GHz. So if you set to fsb to ~300MHz you'll want to set this to 3x as 3x 300 = 900MHz

LDT Bus Transfer Width
This field is used to select the LDT bus transfer width.
Leave this @ 16x with this board, you can try lower it if things are unstable, but I never had to

CPU/FSB Frequency Ratio
This field is used to select the frequency ratio of the CPU/FSB.
This is your CPU mulitplier, you can only lower this. This can be usefull for getting high memory overclocks if the cpu is at it's limits
PCI eXpress Frequency
Default Default setting.
100MHz This option will set the PCI Express frequency to
100MHz.
this is the PCIe clock speed. Overclocking this only helps with some 3dmark scores. It's also improtant to increase if your overclocking the gfx card (alot)
~130MHz is normally max for benchies but you need to increase the ldt voltage - most people leave this alone as not worth any real performance
