SIS 651 MB - 4X AGP now - 8x AGP upgrade available?

Can i use an 8X AGP video card on my SIS 651 that supports only 4X AGP nOw? Is there a way to utilize 8x AGP on this MB with a bios update or the video drivers with the new card?

no way to use 8x but the card should run at 4x. As far as i know agp 8 is backwards compatible with agp 4x.

Welcome to the forums! 
An 8x AGP card will work fine on a SIS 4x AGP chipset motherboard. An 8x AGP bus only improves video performance 1-7% depending on the application, so no worries on the performance loss!
