Hey peeps this is my first topic, i am an AMD fan by the way.

I was planning to get the NVIIDA nForce 750a SLI chipset which someone said to me not to buy it without a reason and will not give reasoning..lol

IT will run on an AMD Phenom 9950 (2.66ghz i think?)
NVIIDA nForce 750a SLI chipset
4gb DDR2 Ram
NVIDIA Geforce 9800GT 512mb
and well hmm much more i need to say when i am asking about that motherboard?
So is that motherboard good or not? please give reasons.

Cheers, Matt

Matt,

The 750a is not designed to handle a 125W Black Edition Phenom, so it will exceed the 750a board's maximum processor TDP. If you want to make sure your board lasts for a number of years and doesn't fail you might want to look for one that supports 125W TDP procssors!

welcome to the forums.

If your a AMD fan boy why not go with a AMD chipset? Some 790FX motherboards have the 750 south bridge on them. Maybe the 790GX.

I forsaken Nvidia and will not buy and more of there products unless I see an incredible deal.
