I am replacing my current motherboard with a new motherboard CPU combo, and am undicided which is the best one for me.
I only play a few games and really am doing this for fun. The prices are all the same, at Tiger Direct.
Each board comes with an AMD Athlon 64 3400+ cpu.

Here are the boards I am thinking of:
MSI K8TNEO-FSR
Foxconn 755AO1 - 6EKRS
DFI K8M 800 VIA
PC CHips W32 SIS

I am favoring the MSI, since that is the type I currently have. The only difference I see is 2 boards have fire wire, but I do not use fire wire and do not plan on it at any time.

Of those boards I've used the MSI K8TNEO-FSR and I was happy with it. Decent overclocking options and seemed pretty stable.

The only two boards out of that group I'd recommend are the MSI and DFI boards

I use MSI boards all the time and I rarley have a problem with them.

I recently built a system with the msi MSI K8TNEO-FSR

athlon 3700
2 gigs ram
quadro 540 video card


This system performs quite well
