Hi every1, I am using an MSI K9AG Neo2 Digital 690G chipsset mobo. Recently I hav triedtoupdate thebiosto 1.8. I have been updaing this mobos bios since 1.4 with a USB Disk Pro which act like a floppy drive and a pendrive altogether. But the last time It was updated directly from windows. And when it was ReBooted it is not working anymore :( . When I boot the PC The display shows nothing, no POST and the green led is on. Is there any way that I can restore or Re-Flash the BIOS? I am posting this message using my old Celeron 1.1 GHz with no HDD and Live Ubuntu. Plz help me if you can.
Thanks in advance.

did you try the bios recovery procedure?

BIOS flash failed during BIOS update Try BIOS recovery for AMI or Award BIOS

AMI BIOS recovery procedure
• Rename the desired AMI BIOS file to AMIBOOT.ROM and save it on a floppy disk. e.g. Rename A6712VMS.190 to AMIBOOT.ROM
• Insert this floppy disk in the floppy drive. Turn On the system and press and hold Ctrl-Home to force update. It will read the AMIBOOT.ROM file and recover the BIOS from the A drive.
• When 4 beeps are heard you may remove the floppy disk and restart the computer.
Award BIOS recovery procedure
• Make a bootable floppy disk
• Copy the Award flash utility files & bios file to the bootable floppy diskette
• Open Notepad and put the following command line e.g. awdfl826B w6777NMS.140 than save to the floppy drive and name as Autoexec.bat
• Restart system with the floppy diskette that contains the Award utility & bios file (it will take less than 2 minutes before screen comes out)

I've heard horror stories from that and never tried... I have the same board in a HTPC. Try the above recovery method.
