Hi

Can I please get some feedback/suggestions etc on building a powerful computer:

This is what I have worked out so far (prices NewEgg sorry not sure how to post the raw list):

1 Western Digital Caviar Green WD10EADS 1TB SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive - OEM
$89.99

4 G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK - Retail
$199.96

1 TYAN S4989WG2NR Quad 1207(F) NVIDIA nForce Professional 3600 + 3050 MEB Quad AMD Opteron Server Motherboard - Retail
$849.99

1 NORCO RPC-470 Black 4U Rackmount Server Case - Retail
$79.99

1 Athena Power AP-P4ATXK110FEP 1100W Single EPS-12V Server Power Supply - Retail
$239.99

4 Dynatron F661 60mm 2xBall CPU Cooler - Retail
$99.96
($24.99each)

4 AMD Opteron 2346HE 1.8GHz Socket F 55W Quad-Core Server Processor Model OS2346PAL4BGH - OEM
$759.96
($189.99each)

Subtotal: $2,319.84

I will add extra ram later.

Some options I am considering:

1. Istanbul processor (price goes up massively)
2. SSD drive.

will definitely add some GPU video cards so was thinking

2 x Radeon HD4850x2

Thanks in advance.
