Any other suggestions. I'd like to OC a little but really I'd like a good quality, stable board. I think the AV8 is too flaky.

I'm planning on getting the ATI All-in-wonder X800 XT video card/tuner which is AGP only
They don't make a "great" PCI-E vid/tuner board. AGP is ok, but I want to ditch my ABIT board and go with a Nvidia chipset board for the 939 CPU's but I'm having trouble tracking down a good one. I have found the DFI NF3 Ultra Lanparty online but they are hard to come by - Newegg, Zipzoomfly, etc don;t even carry them. I'm womdering why.

The ATACOM one is 939 http://www.atacom.com/program/print_htm ... SER_ID=www
Yeah, that's the ONLY place that I could find that carried it. That's what worries me. I'm wondering why only 1 place is carrying it. Surely there must be some demand for AGP NForce boards. PCIE is a great thing but since most all games aren't even utilizing it to it's full potential (and won;t for some time), AGP is still a good choice.
My company will reimburse me 20% every 3 years for computer purchases (includes parts and software etc) and my three year anniversary of my last reimbursement is in January '06. I'm trying to stick it out until then but I'm not very patient. It sound sbetter than it is...the amount reimbursed is taxed at like 60% so you end up getting less than half back.

ok couple of suggestions I have the same exact Vid card and I picked up a Soltek KT800 MB runs like a champ ($44 bunch of us at overclockers picked them up) Chief Value has ALOT of refurbs that are coming cheap and really can't tell that they are refurbs other than the ocasional open accessory baggie. If you are not on the market for a refurb there is
the MSI Neo2-F or the MSO Neo2 Platinum, they are both AGP they are both NF3 they are both really good all around and are solid overclockers.
<shrug> this soltek was my first departure from ASUS in about 10 years
