Epox 8rda3+ Powerpack extras!

Post by kalmark »

Hi guys!

I just got an above mentioned mobo, and as a suprise I got the powerpack version of it! woot! :)

It has a pretty little screwdriver and some small heatsinks as an extra.
My question would be about the latter: these are small (~1cm*0.5cm) blue heatsinks, with some adhesive on the bottom of them. The manual says I might paste them on memory chips or the like, but would it be worth it? I'm not sure if I could remove these little fellas ever...

Ideas? :)

Ram sinks will help a little if you over volt and over clock your ram. As for being able to remove them that depends on the quality of the thermal adhesive. There are a few ways to remove adhesives one is with heat the other is by cooling. If this is thermal tape then you may get the best results removing by freezing the ram and then removing the heat sinks.
