Abit A9N 32X problems

i just built a bare bone destop with a Abit A9N 32X mobo and it has some major problems.
1) i installed service pack 2 on it to get usb working but it didn't do anything to a get a microsoft wireless usb card running ]
2) the lan connection doesn't even show up as a possible connection in windows it only shows firewire no wireless no lan no anything except for firewire(1394) and the wierdst part is it was working yesterday then stopped
3) if you check out this motherboard you will aslo see that there is an abit pcix 1 card for onboard sound windows doesn't even recognize it as anything but a ?pci device?

Please can somone help this is really nuts HELP!

I'm no expert, but here are some things you can try.

Abit had problems with the KN9 series of motherboards. I think they might have even had a recall. Something with the USB ******* up. I would try a BIOS update if you haven't already.

Also, get your chipset drivers straight from nVIDIA rather than Abit. Abit has outdated versions. For example, on Abit's web site they provide 9.15, but the newest version is 9.53.

Same with my AN8 32X .

So far no luck with getting the correct driver to install , just keeps saying "unknown device" in device manager .
