No the ABIT AN7 comes with uGuru which includes what they call ABIT EQ which monitors fan speeds and temps it also provides an overclocking utility that I don't use. You may be familiar with it (uGuru) but it has a lot of features which are pretty cool but the temps aren't accurate or at least there is a better than avereage chance that they are not.

Merlin,
If I can find it again I'll link it. there is a program going around that works with the ABIT setup, basically someone created a fix for the onboard temp sensors.
My understanding about MBM5 and Speedfan is that they use your boards sensors to calculate the temps. What i have seen with both ASUS and ABIT is basically the same readings that your built in program gives you. which is why I like an actual temp sensor.
BTW, Got a review sample in today of the Thermalright XP-120. Look for a review on it probably monday

Thanks, I got MBM5 up and running and It is showing the same temps as ABIT EQ. I do like having the temps posted on my toolbar all the time instead of having to start a program to check temps.

This is strange but since I put MBM5 on my system my Idle temps seem to spike by about 5'c hotter than before, on both ABIT EQ and MBM5. It started soon after installing MBM5. Do you think it is simply reporting something that has been there all along or could there be a problem I need to fix?
