Hello,
I hope somebody can help me. A friend of mine gave me his old computer so i can run newer games But he has lost the driver cd that came with the motherboard. After a new install of the OS the trouble started since this model the k7vta3 v5.0 is in the archives of elitegroup ecs cannot help me. Due to license problem some of the drivers that need to be installed cannot be downloaded
My question is can anybody who has the same MoBo make an iso or rar file of the driver cd that came with this MoBo, so i can replace the misplaced cd and start using this motherboard again.
Of course i would be very gratefull :-D

I might have a kt333 ultra cd not that all of the components are the same, but do you have internet? and windows default drivers? because once you get internet you can download any one of the drivers. I know the kt333 chipset used ac97 audio from realtek 2.1 channel I think. and yeah you can have windows tell you which each part is exactly.

Thanks for your quick reply.
I have searched the internet (google) for days now. i am running xp sp2
i am having trouble with finding and installing the "via usb 2.0 host controller"
and the "via ac'97 enhanced audio controller" the site from via tells me i cannot download them due to license issue and if i lost the cd that came with the mobo i should contact the mobo seller/builder
But the MoBo is not for sale anymore and has no more support according to ecs elitegroup
My computer also complains about a pci simple communications-controller, but i believe that is from a modem card that is inserted. Not sure tho.
Thanks in advance.

I just tried downloading them and I got no error at all from the ecs website.

I would try again.
I could download everything using the USA links.

If you still can not downlaod them, I could get them and send them through AIM? email would not hold them. I could also use a service called DivShare to get them to you. Let me know if you have problems downloading and i will try and help.

download the VIA 4-in-1 drivers for the board and snag the USB drivers that you need... they should do the trick for you.

I had problems with an ECS board and the 4 in 1 drivers too - I had to use an older version for it to work - go figure.
Glad it worked out for you
