How good is Gigabyte GA-M59SLI-S5?

Post by barfly »

I'm curious to know wther anyone had exprience with this particular mobo. I'm building my first rig based on FX-62 CPU and want to find a good and stable board to go with it. From what i hear Gigabyte are known for stability and quality thats why i'm considering it. Other boards under consideration are Asus Crosshair and M2N32-SLI, from what i've read these 3 are supposed to be the best. I'd appreciate any respones.

I don't have this MB but from this review ---------------------------

you can see the gigabyte against the Asus and Foxconn (SLI rigs)... not bad :-k

Consider wait for the new 8600 nvidia cards and ATI R600 to see what is the best choise, SLI or CFire...

I'm saying to wait for ATI R600 because when it comes out... possibly the $$$ on 1900/50XT and XTX DDR4 may fall <$$$$$

ATI new DX10 boards by the look of it and keeping the features being release on the net now a days is goeing to be a WATTS sucker and also very $$$$ :drinkers:
